Tisbury police and the Martha’s Vineyard Drug Task Force arrested two women in a drug raid Sunday at the Vineyard Harbor Motel, according to a press release issued Monday.

Shauna Fullin, 41, of Vineyard Haven was charged with possession of a class B drug (cocaine) with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Tisbury police said later that Ms. Fullin was a live-in employee at the motel.

Gretchen Coughlin, 43, of Plymouth, was charged with possession of a class B drug (cocaine), as well as possession of methamphetamine (class B), adderall (class E), and Xanax (class E) — all with intent to distribute, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Police said the arrests were conducted under a search warrant following a monthlong investigation by the drug task force into an alleged cocaine distribution operation from the motel. Ms. Fullin was the subject of the investigation, according to police.

Arraignment in Edgartown district court is set for later this week, according to police.
