The Oak Bluffs Public Library will be closed until at least Feb. 18 after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19, the library announced on its website Thursday.

The staff member last worked on Feb. 10 and additional staff identified as close contacts have been asked to follow state quarantine and testing guidelines, the announcement said.

A press release from the town said the building would be deep cleaned before reopening.

The library was already restricted to curbside pickup and dropoff; virtual programs will still take place as scheduled during the closure.
