Controversy and confusion over the recent downsizing of a summer event in Waban Park prompted an outpouring of support for the antiracism advocacy organization A Long Talk at the Oak Bluffs selectmen’s meeting Tuesday.


As protests and violence rang out around the country, a peaceful crowd gathered at Waban Park in Oak Bluffs Sunday morning.


This summer marks the second year for the Martha’s Vineyard Sound International Indie Music Festival held at Waban Park in Oak Bluffs. It also signifies an expansion in the event’s mission. This year’s festival will feature local food and artisans, dance performances and activities for kids.
