The town of Tisbury celebrates its 152nd birthday this Saturday, July 8 with music, food, games and goods on Main street in Vineyard Haven.

An estimated 5,000 to 6,000 people strolled downtown Vineyard Haven on Monday night, from the Mansion House to the Green Room, browsing street-side stalls for the annual Tisbury Street Fair.

The Tisbury Street Fair began in 1971 to commemorate the town’s third centennial. The annual event is a place for Islanders and visitors to mix and mingle.
