All manner of food and fashion, from stars and stripes suits and bedazzled dresses, to tacos, tofu and tuna, were on full display at Taste of the Vineyard Thursday night.


Edgartown police reported an active Thursday night rounding up revelers from the annual Taste of the Vineyard event for an array of minor incidents that ran late into the evening and early morning hours.

Hordes of Islanders and non-Islanders came out to the historic Dr. Daniel Fisher House Thursday night for the annual benefit for the Vineyard Trust.


The Taste of the Vineyard stroll ushered in the season with 40 vendors serving everything from lobster sliders to strawberry macaroons. One man arrived wearing a suit covered in flamingos.


Shark sweatshirts, flamingo-patterned suits, and floral-patterned dresses were a few of the looks Thursday evening at the 32nd annual Taste of the Vineyard Gourmet Stroll.


The line wound around the block on Thursday evening as 900 ticket holding guests waited to enter the white tents next to the Old Whaling Church for the 31st Taste of the Vineyard party, the annual benefit for the Preservation Trust.
