An Island man is being held in the Edgartown house of correction following his arraignment on heroin charges in connection with a fatal overdose. Sean M. Geddis, 25, was arrested on August 1 by Oak Bluffs police.


Alexander Carlson, 30, of Edgartown, was arraigned in Edgartown district court Friday on charges of trafficking in fentanyl and resisting arrest.


A Dukes County grand jury last week indicted three men on charges related to drug trafficking on Martha’s Vineyard.


Two men arrested late last week in Oak Bluffs have been arraigned on drug charges related to distributing oxycodone pills on the Vineyard, according to police. Joel C. Rebello and Donald S. Berube were arraigned Monday on charges of trafficking oxycodone and conspiracy to violate drug law.
