West Tisbury’s three principal governing boards agreed Wednesday that the town needs a zoning bylaw update that clearly states the rules for food trucks and retail sales at special events on private property.

An agreeable group of voters filled the West Tisbury School gymnasium for their annual town meeting Tuesday evening, passing all but one of 51 articles on the warrant.

West Tisbury convenes its annual town meeting Tuesday with a stripped-down warrant that includes only essential spending items. The meeting is Tuesday in Oak Bluffs.

West Tisbury selectmen have set June 23 at the date for the annual town meeting, which will be held this year in the Oak Bluffs Tabernacle.

June 23 is the tentative new annual meeting date, and June 25 is the tentative new date for the annual town election.
