Spring sports are back in action at the high school and the weather isn’t the only thing heating up on the Island as the baseball team thumped Nantucket 10-0 on opening day Saturday and kept it rolling for a 6-1 win over Dennis Yarmouth on Tuesday.
Five Vineyard ballers will lace up for a last run on the court this season as the Cape and Islands league boys and girls All Star games are set to take place Sunday at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center.
