The Martha’s Vineyard Museum Board has voted David Grain as its new Board Chair and Nancy Robinson Breuer as Vice Chair.
Mr. Grain succeeds Cathy Weiss, who has served as Board Chair since 2020. He and Ms. Breuer have both served in museum board leadership positions and have long standing connections to Martha’s Vineyard.
Mr. Grain graduated from Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School and is the chief executive officer of Grain Management, LLC, which he founded in 2007. He and his wife, Lisa Butler Grain, raised their children in Vineyard Haven.
Ms. Breuer had a long tenure at the National Gallery of Art where she ultimately served as secretary and general counsel. She also serves on the board of the Capital Jewish Museum and is a Trustee for WETA, the leading public broadcasting station in Washington, DC.
