Martha's Vineyard Hospital will open up 528 new appointments for Pfizer vaccine booster shots starting at 4 p.m. Friday.

Appointments will be available for Tuesday, Nov. 9, Wednesday, Nov. 10,  Friday, Nov. 12, Tuesday, and Tuesday - Friday, Nov. 16 - 19.

Additional booster appointments will be released next Friday, a hospital spokeswoman said in an email.

Appointments will be only given to individuals who received their second Pfizer dose at least six months and are 65 years of age or older, immune compromised or have an eligible underlying medical condition.

"Martha's Vineyard Hospital is not  yet offering Moderna boosters, and mixing and matching of vaccine brands is not permitted at MVH at this time," the email said.
