Seasonal Vineyarder and documentary filmmaker Stanley Nelson premiered a new movie on ESPN about the quarterback Michael Vick.

Part one of the movie was broadcast on ESPN’s 30 for 30 series on Jan. 30, with part two airing Feb. 6. The film provides a comprehensive look at each chapter of the former Virginia Tech and NFL quarterback whose rise, fall and rise made headlines from the football field to back-rooms of illegal dog fighting .

Stanley Nelson has won numerous Emmy and Peabody Awards and in 2013, received the National Medal in the Humanities from President Barack Obama. His previous films include Freedom Riders, A Place of Our Own, Tell Them We Are Rising: The Story of Black Colleges and Universities among many others.
