Commercial property owners in Tisbury will be getting bigger tax bills, after the select board voted Tuesday to shift 5 per cent of the town’s $40 million tax levy from residential to commercial real estate.
The Tisbury select board formally approved new language for liquor licenses, removing the longstanding requirement that alcohol must only be served with food.
Students and faculty of the former summer School of Creative Arts on West Chop are having a reunion on the Vineyard, from August 20 to 22. Moshup Beach in Aquinnah will grow by half again as much, and Wilfrid's Pond Preserve in Vineyard Haven will more than double in size.
