The Feast of the Holy Ghost parade stepped off from the Oak Bluffs Steamship Authority terminal on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. under a sweltering sun. It was part of the annual two-day Portuguese festival celebrating history, food, music and giving back to the community.

The annual Feast of the Holy Ghost parade began at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday outside the Steamship Authority terminal and then headed up Circuit avenue. Ninety-three-year-old Anita Combra did not walk in the parade this year, instead it came to her, as per tradition.
