Steve Maxner’s new exhibit at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum combines stunningly beautiful assemblages of shell and sea wrack with his experience in the Vietnam War to create an explosion of emotion.

Richard Limber's exhibit at the West Tisbury Library is called A Bunch of Faces for You. Many of the portraits include an edgy, ripped-from-the-headlines aesthetic.

2019

Jennifer Strachan and John Zannini are hosting an open studio on Saturday and Sunday at their home gallery at 188 Waldrons Bottom Road in West Tisbury.

February is African American History Month, and in honor of that history Pathways Arts is holding a multimedia art show at its space in the Chilmark town center.

Albert O. Fischer's photography show at the Martha's Vineyard Playhouse features scenes from his Island home. His interest in the craft began as a way to deal with the trauma of the Vietnam War.

Louisa Gould is hosting her annual Small Wonders Art Show, with a reception on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 3 to 5 p.m. at her gallery on 54 Main street in Vineyard Haven.
