Before about 20 people at the Aquinnah town hall, incumbent Thomas Murphy and challenger Jannette Vanderhoop answered voter queries, weighed in on their experience and explained their vision for the town.

Aquinnah voters go to the polls today to cast ballots in the annual town election — including a final vote on the housing bank and deciding a race for the board of health. Polls are open from noon to 8 p.m. in the old town hall.
