The Martha’s Vineyard All-Island Junior High Band earned a gold medal at the Great East Music Festival.
On Thursday night the All-Island Band, featuring more than 200 students, performed their spring concert. The music ranged from Harlem Nocturn to We Will Rock You by Queen.
All-Island band’s annual spring concert is on Thursday, May 12, beginning at 7 p.m.
The seventh and eighth graders in the All-Island “A” band took home top honors at the Great East Music Festival in Wilbraham on May 1.
