The Vineyarders played almost entirely on the Cape last week as they looked to build momentum heading into the final days of the high school winter sports season.

Seniors and co-captains of the girls squad — Elenor Hyland, Gabby Carr and Lily Jones — were recognized by their teammates and coaches at the meet on Thursday.

Last week, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association approved fall sports II practices to begin on Feb. 22.

After losing their home opener to Sandwich on Thursday, the boys basketball team rebounded on Friday to beat the Falmouth Clippers 68-55.
