This weekend, the Minnesingers will be joined by nearly 100 returning alumni in two concerts at the Performing Arts Center to celebrate the groups fiftieth season.
With a generous double program that traveled easily from sacred music and opera to jazz and Lady Gaga, the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School Minnesingers displayed their versatility with two spring concerts over the weekend.
Fresh off their Italian debut, the Martha’s Vineyard Minnesingers are back and excited to perform for their “favorite audience” director Janis Wightman said.
The high school Minnesingers have been busy preparing for this weekend’s spring concert, which features choreography set to music from Oscar nominated and winning films. Performances are Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
