Joe and Emily Monteiro, the team behind 19 Prime and 19 Raw, are taking over the Copper Anchor’s lease this April, looking to open a new restaurant, 9, later this spring.

Owner JB Blau announced the move this week, but declined to say who the new restaurant operator would be, while adding that it was a Vineyard proprietor who owns multiple restaurants on the Island.

Property owners in Tisbury may see a reduction in their insurance rates soon. Island restaurateur J.B. Blau announced this week the opening of Copper Wok, a pan-Asian restaurant at the Mansion House hotel that will feature Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese items and fresh sushi.

Mr. Blau and business partner and chef Alex Nagi will take over operations of Zephrus, the longtime restaurant at the hotel. The restaurant is slated to open in April. Mr. Nagi will be head chef.
