Gay Moore Phillipps Nelson died peacefully at Long Hill in Edgartown on May 13.

Christiane V. Norton of Amherst died peacefully from cancer on April 16 with her family by her side. She was 63.

Judith A. (Lapham) Norton of Edgartown died on March 25.

Thomas Paul Nassetta, affectionately known by many nicknames, died peacefully in his sleep on Dec. 7.

Stella Lyeman Novotny died on Nov. 1 of a formidable form of acute myeloid leukemia, two weeks after her fourth birthday.

Judith Ann Nichols of Vineyard Haven died on Sunday, Oct. 15 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. She was 78.

Adam Nessen of Boston died peacefully on Feb. 21 after a two year battle with cancer. He was 51.

Margaret (Maggie) E. Macdonald Nelson of Vineyard Haven and Naples, Fla., died Sunday, Oct. 30 in Naples after a long battle with cancer.

Samuel Bailey Norton Jr. died Sept. 8 at home in Edgartown with his wife Joan W. Norton and daughter Nancy Norton Monahan by his side. He was 95.
