Brenda Sue Mullins died peacefully on Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 at her home in Oak Bluffs.

James S. Marshall died on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at his home in Belfast, Maine after a cardiac illness. He was 73.

Mabel Champney McCarthy died peacefully of natural causes on Sept. 19 at the Windemere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 92.

Virginia (Gina) Hartley Menton, formerly of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Oak Bluffs, died peacefully on July 5, surrounded by her loving children.

Mark H. Mattison died peacefully June 28 after a valiant battle following a double lung transplant for pulmonary fibrosis.

John L. McCauley Jr. of Newport, R.I., and a longtime resident of Vineyard Haven, died on the threshold of summer, June 20. He was 86.

Services for Mrs. Irene Carson MacKenty of Edgartown will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 11 a.m. at the New Westside Cemetery in Edgartown.

George R. Medeiros Sr. died at his Oak Bluffs home on Thursday, April 7. He was 72.

John Tenney Mead died on Friday, Feb. 3 after a very brief stay in the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital. He was 88.
