Paul and Ann Chase Service

A memorial service for Paul and Ann Chase will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 20 at the Oriental Masonic Lodge, 52 Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Rd in Oak Bluffs. All are welcome.

The Chases were longtime residents of Oak Bluffs, Mr. Chase’s hometown, and were among the five generations of Chase family members to own and manage the Wesley Hotel. Mrs. Chase died on Feb. 8, 2021 at the age of 94. Mr. Chase died on Nov. 9, 2022 at the age of 95.

I was saddened when I read this obit. I worked at the Wesley House as a summer employee 1962-1966. The family was always very kind to me. I enjoyed Paul for his sense of humor and good management skills. May they rest in Peace.

Ken Thomas, Dennis ,MA

I worked for 2 summers at the Wesley House in the late 60's. Paul was my boss, as I worked in the kitchen. Always very nice and kind as was the entire family. Ken Thomas
