Theodore Wolf of East Falmouth died on March 12 after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Ted was born in Northampton on Nov. 15, 1939 to Mae Wolf of Cummungton and the late Edward Wolf. He was the second of six children.

Ted lived in the Falmouth area for the past 35 years. He was educated at Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School in Northampton. Following high school he served in the Navy. He enjoyed the experience, especially traveling to different places. This love of travel continued throughout his life.

Ted was co-owner of the Cataumet Saw Mill for the past 30 years. He was a creative master of woodworking with a strong work ethic, and was a mentor to many around him. Ted was always there for his family and friends. He was interested in teaching and sharing his ideas. He was curious to learn new things, especially with the younger generation. Ted was always on the prowl to find more antique yellow pine.

Ted is predeceased by his son John Wolf, sister in law Maureen E. Bucken and Dave Taddeo, and his in laws Irene and Walter Bucken. He is survived by his wife Ann; daughter Vicki Wolf of Redding, Calif,; sons Todd of Cataumet and Rick of Mercer, Me.; his siblings Ronald Wolf and Richard Wolf, both of Cummington, Diane Averill of Oak Bluffs, Mae Luchetti of East Lansing, Mich. and Rodger Wolf of Cummington; along with many in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and an uncle.
