Arthur Bruce Nadelson, D.M.D. of West Amwell, N.J. and Martha’s Vineyard, died Saturday, March 31 at home surrounded by family. He was 66.

Mr. Nadelson was born on April 27, 1945 in Brooklyn, N.Y. and grew up in Deal, N.J.  He graduated from Rutgers University before traveling the world. In 1974, Mr. Nadelson moved to Martha’s Vineyard. to work as a carpenter and cabinetmaker. He married Susan Koplik in July 1975. They returned to New Jersey in 1977 and bought a house in West Amwell Township. Mr. Nadelson went back to school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)-New Jersey Dental School and received his D.M.D. in 1985. Mr. Nadelson maintained a private dental practice in Ewing, N .J. for 25 years and retired in 2011.

Mr. Nadelson was a passionate woodworker and enjoyed spending time in his personal workshop, where he built furniture and boats. He was an avid fly-fisherman and loved traveling with his friends to exotic places for fishingadventures. Mr. Nadelson is survived by his wife, Susan, and three daughters, Hannah, Molly and A.J. Kao and husband, David.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel in Ewing Township.
