The town of Tisbury’s finance and advisory committee is looking for a temporary member, following the resignation of committee member John Oliver last year.

“We are looking to add a person just until the town election, to make it easier to guarantee a quorum during budget season,” committee chair Nancy Gilfoy told the Gazette.

According to a notice on the town website, anyone interested in serving on the committee should notify the Tisbury select board’s office as soon as possible, because the board is slated to make the appointment at its March 13 meeting.

Finance and advisory committee members are normally elected to three-year terms, four of which are up for election in June.
