Emily Martina Berger married Tyler Hixon Aubrey on Sept. 23 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Edgartown.

The service was officiated by The Rt. Rev. Ian T. Douglas, and a reception followed at the Edgartown Yacht Club.

The bride is the daughter of Caroline Viall Monzani of Vineyard Haven and Geoffrey Leslie Berger, and step-daughter of Dana C. Berger of Orchid Island, Fla. Her father is currently chief executive officer of Hinckley Yachts, and was a founding partner of Boston Boat Works.

The bridegroom is the son of Stever Hixon Aubrey, a board member of Martha’s Vineyard Bank and the Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation, and Elsie O’Brien Aubrey, of West Tisbury.

The bridesmaids were Jessica Sears Bauers, Caroline Dobbyn Halpern, Sara Catanzaro, Catherine DeBeer, Courtney Clough, Helen Berger, Jennifer Russell, Kendra Dietrich, Margaret Walsh and Paula Völkert.

The best man was Malcolm See and groomsmen were Peter Jackson, William Bardeen, Kaius Garber, Samuel Clark, David Miller and Stephen J. Brussard.

The bride attended The Kent School, and the University of Vermont, class of 2009. She is currently a marketing executive at Color Wow in Wilton, Conn.

The groom attended the Noble & Greenough School and Roanoke College, class of 2011. He is an advertising executive at Digitas Health in New York City. Both the bride and groom are of third-generation Edgartown families.
