Brothers Peter and Teddy are one-year old, black male rabbits and these beauties are our featured pets of the week. They have been hand raised and are litter box-trained. Both are very friendly and love to be held and cuddled. And they’re happy living indoors or out. These brothers do not need to find homes together, but they have been here too long and would love a forever home.

Savannah and Judy have moved into their new homes and we are very grateful to their new owners for giving them such special homes.

Available cats still in need of homes are Jasmine, who may be part Maine coon. She is a stunning, long-haired, gray/dilute calico cat with green eyes. Her age is 13 and she is looking for someone to adore her. Since she considers herself to be the queen, we feel she would be happiest as an only cat. Also available is Marbles, a three-year-old, gray and black, female tabby cat. She is an affectionate, playful girl who enjoys laps and being held. However, she can be intolerant of other cats so we recommend that she be in a single-cat home.

Puppy training classes with Jeremy Jones are going well and the weather has been perfect for K-9 kindergarten.

We were so sorry to not be able to hold our Celebration of Pets last week because of the storm but look forward to having it next year.

Did you know that if the Island is faced with an emergency where you need to keep your animals safe, we offer crates for cats and dogs so you can keep your family members with you.
