A million kudos and thanks to the Tisbury fire department and police for saving us from kitchen fire. They responded immediately to our 911 call and extinguished the fire. Without their help, the fire would have spread. Their support was incredible.

One last word to readers: please check your smoke detectors. Without them a greater disaster could have occurred.
