Sharks general manager Russ Curran promised the team would bring the series home for a final game in the southern division finals tonight and they delivered.

On Monday evening the Sharks blasted the Danbury Westerners 19-3 to force a third and final game tonight at the Shark Tank. Game begins at 7 p.m.

The Sharks ended the regular season seeded first in the southern division and cruised through the first round of the playoffs against the Oceanstate Waves, with wins of 14-5 and 6-0. But the Westerners put them in the hole after defeating the Sharks on Sunday 9-2, thanks to a powerful performance by Henry Strmecki who led his team with a grand slam and a homerum.

But the Sharks ate up the pressure of the do-or-die away game and now look to close out the series tonight at home.

The winner of the southern regional then faces the Northshore Navigators, winner of the northern division, for the New England Conlegiate Baseball League championship.
