Martha’s Vineyard Hospital has been named among this year's top 100 women-led businesses in Massachusetts, according to an announcement from the hospital.

President and CEO Denise Schepici was named #43 among the leaders of the 100 businesses, which were selected by the nonprofit Commonwealth Institute in partnership with the Globe Magazine. Each organization was reviewed based on its revenue and operating budget, workplace and management diversity, innovative projects and other elements, according to the announcement.

“I am honored and humbled to be on a list with so many smart and accomplished women," Ms. Schepici said in a statement. 'I say it every day that it is a privilege to work with the scores of physicians, nurses and health care providers at Martha’s Vineyard Hospital all motivated to care for the health needs of our patients and Island community.”
