The six cottages on this year’s Gingerbread Cottage Tour all retain a number of their original features, however their addresses have changed. Although they were all built in the later 1800s, each cottage received a new address in 1996 to accommodate the enhanced 911 emergency call system. After over 100 years on Washington avenue, the addresses for all six cottages are now on Butler avenue.

The tour will be held on Wednesday, August 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will begin at the Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs.

Tickets are $30 per person, and include admission to six historic cottages including The Pink House, an assortment of refreshments, and entrance to the Cottage Museum.

All proceeds benefit the Tabernacle Restoration Fund.
