An Islandwide health collaborative, a teen leadership project for native Americans and youth of color and ongoing work in food waste recovery are among the varied projects that have earned prestigious awards from the Martha’s Vineyard Vision Fellow program.

Vision Fellowships for 2019 were announced Thursday. All will receive financial awards. The vision fellow program aims to be a catalyst for leadership and maintaining the unique qualities of Martha’s Vineyard.

There are nine fellowships, plus four college student awards and four more renewed college awards. The list of winners follows.

Vision Fellowships: Megan Carroll, Rebecca Hodgson, Carrie Fyler, Haven Huck, Aaron Lowe, Cynthia Mitchell, Brian Morris, Peg Regan, David Vanderhoop.

College Fellowships: Alley Estrella, Curtis Fisher, Mark Turner, Victoria Scott.

Two-Year College Fellowships (Renewed): Zachary Bresnick, Daniel Gaines, Camilla Prata, James Robinson.
