The fourth annual Father’s Day Car-B-Q Classic Auto Show cruises into town on Sunday, June 17 at the Harbor View Hotel.

Sponsored by the Gazette and the Harbor View, the event begins at 10:30 a.m. with a parade of classic cars from Bend in the Road Beach down Main street, Edgartown, ending at the hotel.

Beginning at 11 a.m., spectators can stroll through the lineup of cars, play lawn games courtesy of Bad Martha Brewery and take photos inside MV PhotoBus, a 1976 refurbished VW bus-turned photo booth. A barbeque lunch will be served all afternoon.

Trophies will be awarded to the top three cars as determined by a popular vote. Those who enter a car in the event will determine the best in show award.

The event will also feature raffle prizes including auto detailing from Island Breeze Car Detailing, paddleboard tours from MV Paddle Co., and a grill from Shirley’s to keep the barbeques going all summer long. Proceeds raised from entry fees and the raffle will benefit the MV Fallen Firefighters Fund.

Patrick Ahearn and MV Autoworks are also sponsors.

Pre-registration is available online at carbq.bpt.me. Registration will be open at 9:30 a.m. at Bend in the Road Beach the day of the event. Attendance is free.
