The Vineyard Montessori School is announcing two new staff members to meet growing elementary school enrollment.

Nora Dyke, an alumni parent and former Montessori school employee, is a new elementary I teacher for students six to nine years old. She has a master’s degree in elementary education and American Montessori Society Elementary I certification.

Emily Melnick will join the staff as an office assistant. She is currently the pastry chef at The Terrace at the Charlotte Inn, and has volunteered at the school in the past.

In other news this summer, Vineyard Montessori’s head of school, Deborah Jernegan, has been named to the board of directors of Montessori Schools of Massachusetts, starting in September.

Vineyard Montessori was founded 1975 and enrolls an average of 54 students a year. For more information about the school visit vineyardmontessori.com.
