The Martha’s Vineyard Museum’s latest exhibit, aptly titled Teeth, opens on Friday, May 15, with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. These ivories aren’t for tickling, though. Instead, countless men at sea whiled away hours creating the work in this 19th-century scrimshaw exhibit. If you want to find out other useful ways teeth have been utilized, visit the ongoing exhibit.
