The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

August 21

Inku Sim, 78, of West Tisbury, admitted to sufficient facts on a May 28 charge in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, amended from drunken driving second offense, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees, a $65 monthly probation services fee, to lose license for 45 days and to complete a 24-day driver alcohol education program. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

August 22

Keith E. Bassett, 44, of Edgartown, arraigned on an August 20 charge in Edgartown of violating an abuse prevention order. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Oct. 10.

August 28

Jessica Buhler, 25, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts on an August 21 charge in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees, a $65 monthly probation services fee, to lose license for 45 days and to complete a 24-day driver alcohol education program. Found not responsible on charges of possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Brandon M. Francis, 22, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts on an April 4 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery on a police officer, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $50 monthly probation services fee.

Gabriel Grasing, 38, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty to December 2013 charges in Edgartown of possessing a class B drug (oxycodone), possessing a class C drug (clonazepam) and two counts of possessing a class E drug (amphetamine and alprazolam), sentenced to one year in a house of correction, suspended one year and placed on probation for two years. Ordered to remain illicit drug free with screens for one year and must pay a $50 victim/witness assessment fee. A charge of withholding evidence from criminal proceeding was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth with defendant consent.

Jessica A. Holley, 21, of Andover, admitted to sufficient facts on an August 15 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued with finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees, a $65 monthly probation services fee, to lose license for 45 days and to complete a 24-day driver alcohol education program. Found not responsible on a marked lanes violation and a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth with defendant consent.

Daniel C. Moraga, 32, of Edgartown, arraigned on July 15 charges in Edgartown of leaving the scene of property damage, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, a marked lanes violation, wanton destruction of property more than $250 and speeding. According to a police report filed in court, Mr. Moraga allegedly crashed a motor vehicle into a telephone pole on 9th street, causing the telephone pole to fracture in half. Bail was set at $500 and a pretrial hearing was scheduled for Sept. 12.

Marco S. Petricone, 18, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on an August 26 charge in Oak Bluffs of violating an abuse prevention order. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Oct. 24.

Antonio Saccoccia, 45, of West Tisbury, found guilty in a bench trial on an April 21 charge in Edgartown of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, placed on probation for one year. Ordered to pay a $250 head injury assessment fee, $200 in fines/assessments and a $50 victim/witness assessment fee. Found not responsible on charges of speeding in violation of special regulation and a marked lanes violation and found not guilty on a charge of drunken driving, second offense.

August 29

Cory M. Galvin, 25, of Bishop, Calif., admitted to sufficient facts on an August 29 charge in Oak Bluffs of resisting arrest, continue without a finding for one week. Ordered to pay a $50 victim/witness assessment fee. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth with victim consent.

Christopher G. Magee, 50, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts on a Jan. 8 charge in Vineyard Haven of possessing to distribute a class A drug (heroin), continued without a finding for two years. Must pay a $90 victim/witness assessment fee and a $65 monthly probation services fee. Ordered to forfeit $1,540, to remain drug and alcohol free with screens, and to continue counseling and provide releases.

Matthew Rodosh, 26, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts on a July 14 charge in Edgartown of domestic assault and battery, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay a $65 monthly probation services fee, a $50 victim/witness assessment fee, to remain alcohol free and maintain treatment as mandated by probation.

Talia Y. Rogers, 23, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts on a Feb. 21 charge in Edgartown of larceny from a building, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay a $90 victim/witness assessment fee, a $65 monthly probation services fee, complete 12 hours community service, remain drug free with screens and to complete a substance abuse evaluation and treatment as mandated by probation.

Juanita S. Suarez-Espino, 46, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on a March 30 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery amended from assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (pint glass), continued without finding for three months. Ordered to pay a $50 monthly probation services fee and a $50 victim/witness assessment fee. An April 4 charge in Oak Bluffs of intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth with defendant consent.
