The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

July 28

Michael E. Baxter, 23, of Richmond, Va., will have a July 26 charge in Vineyard Haven of breaking and entering for a misdemeanor dismissed if $150 in court costs and four hours of community service is served by August 13. A charge of trespassing was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Kyle J. Dubay, 21, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on July 27 charges in Vineyard Haven of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for August 18.

Jesse Fernandez, 26, of Fresh Meadows, N.Y., arraigned on July 27 charges in Oak Bluffs of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and failure to stop/yield. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Sept. 15.

Michael Shaughnessy, 36, of Edgartown, arraigned on July 30 charges in Edgartown of domestic assault and battery. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for August 25.

July 31

Paul C. Chisholm, 57, of Westford, admitted to sufficient facts on a July 30 charge in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete a 24-day driver alcohol education program and to lose license for 45 days. Found not responsible on a marked lanes violation and failure to stop/yield. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Denzil Cintron Jr., 42, of San Diego, Calif., pleaded guilty to a July 23 charge in Vineyard Haven of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, placed on probation for one year. Ordered to pay a $250 head injury assessment fee, a $50 monthly probation services fee, a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and serve 32 hours of community service by Oct. 29. Found not responsible on a marked lanes violation and a charge of speeding in violation of special regulation. A charge of drunken driving was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Scott E. Fielding, 21, of West Tisbury, arraigned on July 24 charges in Vineyard Haven of breaking and entering a building during the nighttime for a felony and larceny from a building. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for August 14.

Leandro S. Lemos, 36, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on a July 30 charge in Vineyard Haven of domestic assault and battery. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Sept. 4.

Abraham T. Rendon, 25, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on a July 30 charge in Vineyard Haven of domestic assault and battery. Bail was set at $750 and a pretrial hearing was scheduled for August 7.

Laura Scheurer, 71, of Edgartown, arraigned on June 20 charges in Edgartown of assault and battery on a person 60 and over or disabled. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for Sept. 4.

Sabrina H. Macleod, 35, of Falmouth, had July 8 charges in Vineyard Haven of two counts of possessing a class E Drug (Sertraline Hydrochloride and Bupropion Hydrochloride) dismissed upon request of the commonwealth (prescriptions provided).

August 1

Justice R. Degregorio, 22, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on a May 15 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete a 24-day driver alcohol education program and to lose license for 45 days. Found not responsible on charges of failure to stop/yield and license not in possession. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. In a separate case, admitted to sufficient facts on May 1 charges in Edgartown of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage, continued without finding for six months and ordered to pay $300 in fees. Found not responsible on a marked lanes violation, speeding in violation of special regulation and failure to stop/yield. August 4

Lara G. Dario, 47, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts on a July 30 charge in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete a 24-day driver alcohol education program and to lose license for 45 days. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, and found not responsible on a marked lanes violation.

Fillipi J. Gomes, 21, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts on a June 27 charge in Edgartown of disorderly conduct, continued without finding for three months and ordered to pay $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $50 monthly probation services fee. Two counts of assault and battery were dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Raleigh S. Jackson, 22, of Pittsburgh, Pa., admitted to sufficient facts on a July 5 charge in Edgartown of drunken driving, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete a 24-day driver alcohol education program and to lose license for 45 days. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, and found not responsible on a marked lanes violation.

Alex M. Mayhew, 26, of Chilmark, admitted to sufficient facts on a May 9 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete a 24-day driver alcohol education program and to lose license for 45 days. Found not responsible on a speeding charge and a marked lanes violation. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Anthony J. Mello, 42, of Hopkinton, admitted to sufficient facts on a July 3 charge of drunken driving, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to pay $600 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete a 24-day driver alcohol education program and to lose license for 45 days. Found not responsible on a charge of possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
