On Tuesday, July 15, at 7 p.m. Neville Frankel will give a reading and discussion of his novel Bloodlines at the Vineyard Haven Public Library, 200 Main street, Vineyard Haven.

Mr. Frankel grew up in South Africa until the age of seven when he moved to Boston. He returned to his home country after an absence of nearly 40 years. On Tuesday, the author will discuss the process of researching and writing his apartheid-era novel, as well as his own experience of returning to the land of his birth and confronting the legacy of his own past.
