The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

May 22

Brian M. Feener, 28, of Swansea, had Jan. 27 charges in West Tisbury of armed robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon (gun), threat to commit a crime and larceny over $250 dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Robert G. Prenda Jr., 28, of Edgartown, had January 2013 charges in Edgartown of possessing a class B drug (Subutex), possessing a class C drug (Xanax) and larceny over $250 dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

May 27

Maurice A. Abisdid-Wagner, 23, of South Boston, was arraigned on a May 23 charge in Oak Bluffs of intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official and, in a separate case, arraigned on Feb. 27 charges of more than five unpaid parking tickets. For both cases, a July 3 pretrial hearing was scheduled.

Jennison D. Adamson, 39, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on May 25 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and license not in possession. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 30.

Brian A. Cimeno, 44, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts on Jan. 15 charges in Edgartown of possessing a class B drug (Oxycodone) and conspiracy to violate drug law, continued without finding for one year. Ordered to remain drug-free with screening for one year, forfeit $779, pay a $90 victim/witness assessment fee and a $65 monthly probation services fee.

Carrie A. Cimeno, 39, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts on a Jan. 15 charge in Edgartown of possessing a class B drug (Oxycodone), continued without finding for one year. Ordered to remain drug-free with screens for one year, forfeit $779, and pay a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $65 monthly probation services fee.

Brian D. Deese, 42, of Highlands Ranch, Colo., was arraigned on a May 25 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery. According to a police report filed in court, Mr. Deese allegedly tackled a man and put him in a headlock on Pocasset Avenue. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for July 3.

William A. Farrissey, 23, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on a May 23 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery. According to a police report filed in court, Mr. Farrissey allegedly punched multiple walls and knocked over shelving inside a home. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for August 15.

Gilmar S. Felix, 43, of West Tisbury, had March 15 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery and breaking and entering a building during the nighttime for a felony dismissed upon request of the commonwealth with failure of victim to cooperate.

Ulisses Ferreira, 34, of Vineyard Haven, had a June 2013 charge of assault and battery dismissed upon request of the commonwealth with failure of victim to cooperate.

Angela Gulinello, 33, of Vineyard Haven, admitted to sufficient facts in an August 2013 charge of violating an abuse prevention order, continued without a finding for six months and ordered to pay $50 monthly probation services fee. In a separate case, a July 2013 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth with failure of victim to cooperate.

Michael R. Holenko, 28, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on May 25 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and speeding in violation of a special regulation. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 6.

Timothy S. McNamara, 48, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on May 24 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (rocks) and intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official. According to a police report filed in court, Mr. McNamara allegedly threw gravel rocks at a victim, striking him in the back. He also allegedly threatened to kill the victim. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for July 10. 


Timothy S. McNamara Jr., 24, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on May 24 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery and intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for July 10.

Liam P. Nixon, 23, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on May 25 charges in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery and carrying a dangerous weapon (throwing star). According to a police report filed in court, Mr. Nixon allegedly struck a person. Police were called and found him driving on Skiff avenue near the scene of the alleged assault and upon searching his car, recovered a metal throwing star. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 27.

Cynthia A. Sequeira, 56, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts on a Feb. 22 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (vacuum nozzle), continued without finding for year. Ordered to pay $90 victim/witness fee, $50 monthly probation fee, no abuse on victim and to continue mental health treatment until professionally discharged or for one year. Two charges of assault and battery and a charge of intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official, continued without finding for one year. According to a police report filed in court, Ms. Sequeira allegedly hit a person with a vacuum nozzle, pushed a different person, who was holding a young child, and slapped another person.

June 2

Kim S. Baker, 55, of Vineyard Haven, had a Feb. 14 charge in West Tisbury of leaving the scene of property damage dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Elizabeth A. Gormley, 52, of Sudbury, pleaded guilty to a May 26 charge in Edgartown of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay a $250 head injury fee, $50 victim/witness assessment fee and $50 monthly probation services fee. A charge of drunken driving was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. Found not responsible on a marked lanes violation and speeding.

Talia Y. Rogers, 23, of Edgartown, was arraigned on a Feb. 21 charge of larceny from a building. According to a police report filed in court, Ms. Rogers allegedly stole Percocet pills.

Tobias S. Silva, 32, of West Tisbury, had a May 17 charge in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. Found not responsible on a marked lanes violation, missing registration sticker and no inspection sticker.
