The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

Jan. 9

Erica R. Oliveira, 35, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on a Sept. 27 charge in Chilmark of larceny of a drug. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Feb. 6.

Jan. 14

Chi Wong, 44, of Canton, found guilty in a bench trial on an August 16 charge in Oak Bluffs of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, ordered to pay $450 in fines/assessments. Found not guilty on a charge of drunken driving and not responsible on a marked lanes violation.

Jan. 16

Mark M. Alger, 50, of South Dennis, found not guilty in a bench trial on an Oct. 6 charge in Edgartown of violating an abuse prevention order.

Jan. 17

Sharon H. Fisher, 47, of Vineyard Haven, will have an August 20 charge in Vineyard Haven of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed if 24 hours of community service are completed by April 16. A charge of leaving the scene of property damage dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Gabriel Grasing, 38, of Edgartown, will have a July 25 charge in Edgartown of aggravated assault and battery dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, with the alleged victim asserting fifth amendment privileges.

James B. Mullin, 24, of Marlborough, will not be prosecuted on a Dec. 27 charge in Edgartown of fugitive from justice on a court warrant.

Tee J. Roginski, 35, of Edgartown, will not be prosecuted on a Sept. 13 charge in Edgartown of fugitive from justice on a court warrant.
