Vineyarders who have memories, experiences or photographs from the Vineyard during World War II are sought for interviews for a book about World War II on Martha’s Vineyard. Writers are looking for anyone with information about the signal corps based on Peaked Hill (now Radar Hill), the USO, patrolling the beaches, practice invasions and relations between armed forces personnel and the Vineyard or Island life in general during the war. All contributions would be appreciated.
