Fashion Week is about looking good but on the Vineyard it is also a chance to do good. There are fashion shows and parties all week long from Sept. 16 to 22, but underneath all the clothing and accessories the event is a benefit for Angel Flight NE.

Angel Flight NE is a nonprofit organization that provides free air transportation for those in need of medical care. Established in 1996 the organization has scheduled more than 65,000 flights. Angel Flight NE mainly services Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. Many, many Vineyarders have benefited from this essential service.

The opening night gala is on Monday, Sept. 16 a the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown. Volunteer pilots from Angel Flight along with their families will be in attendance. The winner of the make-over contest “From Ordinary to Extraordinary” will also be announced.
