Benjamin A. Araujo, 36, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on August 14 charges in Oak Bluffs of operating under the influence of drugs (depressants), second offense, marked lanes violation and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 6.

Michael P. O’Donoghue, 57, of Oak Bluffs, placed on pretrial probation for one year on July 25 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery and disorderly conduct, ordered to complete eight hours of community service and not to contact the alleged victim.

Steve P. Picard, 59, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on August 14 charges in Vineyard Haven of domestic assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a door). Pretrial hearing scheduled for August 30.

August 16

Henry G. Bernardes, 28, of Oak Bluffs, placed on six months of pretrial probation on a May 12 charge of domestic assault and battery in Oak Bluffs. Ordered to be evaluated for counseling and engage in the same as mandated by probation.

Mark A. Moreis, 54, of Oak Bluffs, pleaded guilty to a June 9 charge in Oak Bluffs of disorderly conduct, ordered to pay a $150 fine/assessment. A charge of resisting arrest was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth with defendant’s consent.

Chi Wong, 43, of Canton, arraigned on August 16 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 8.

August 19

Eugene D. Brice, 49, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on August 17 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, and operating under the influence of drugs (Seroquel and Ativan). Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 30.

Dustin Burke, 20, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on August 17 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and a person under 21 possessing liquor. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 23.

Myles C. Goodwin, 21, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on August 19 charges in Edgartown of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot) and disorderly conduct. According to a police report filed in court, he allegedly got into an altercation at the door of the Wharf restaurant, injuring an employee. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 23.

Jason Miskovsky, 28, of Boca Raton, Fla., arraigned on August 19 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding in violation of special regulation and failure to stop for police. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 3.

Joshua L. Schoen, 23, of Edgartown, arraigned on August 17 charges in Oak Bluffs of breaking and entering a boat in the nighttime for a felony and larceny from a boat. According to a police report filed in court, he allegedly boarded a yacht docked in Oak Bluffs harbor. During the break-in, eggs and potatoes were thrown on the galley floor, the police report said, and sunglasses, a pillow and shoes were allegedly taken. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 23.

Brian Williams, 26, of Middle River, Md., arraigned on an August 15 charge in Edgartown of threat to commit a crime (arson, murder). The charge stems from allegedly posting threats against an Edgartown family on his Facebook page. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 13.

Morgan A. Woods, 28, of Edgartown, arraigned on August 16 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a state highway traffic violation (failure to use caution: braking). According to a police report filed in court, the charge stems from allegedly hitting another car when backing vehicle into a parking spot on Kennebec avenue. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 6.

August 22

Chrystal Angelini-Thomas, 39, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty to an August 4 charge in West Tisbury of negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Placed on probation for one year, ordered to pay a $250 head injury assessment fee, a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $50 monthly probation services fee, to complete 32 hours of community service and remain alcohol-free. A charge of drunken driving was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Christopher A. Blanding, 39, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on August 21 charges in Edgartown of domestic assault and battery and intimidating a witness. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 3.

Timothy A. Higgins, 29, of Vineyard Haven, will have a June 12 charge of domestic assault and battery dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Charles E. Mayo, 49, of Stoughton, pleaded guilty to a May 14 charge in Oak Bluffs of operating a motor vehicle with license revoked as a habitual traffic offender. Ordered to one year in a house of correction, sentence suspended and placed on one year of probation. Found not responsible on a charge of no inspection sticker.

Carlo Saccoccio, 21, of Woburn, admitted to sufficient facts on an April 13 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $500 in costs, a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $50 monthly probation services fee and to stay away from the alleged victim. A charge of intimidating a witness was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Benjamin C. Stafford, 32, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on a April 13 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $750 in costs, a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $50 monthly probation services fee and to stay away from the alleged victim. A charge of intimidating a witness was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Andrea C. Tierney, 21, of Vineyard Haven, will have a July 21 charge of disorderly conduct in Oak Bluffs dismissed if $100 in court costs are paid forthwith.

August 23

James Kozak, 52, of Vineyard Haven, will have July 30 charges in Oak Bluffs of domestic assault and battery and malicious destruction of property more than $250 dismissed upon request of the commonwealth with defendant’s consent. Daniel C. Wilson, 47, of Edgartown, had a Feb. 24 charge in Edgartown of malicious destruction of property more than $250 dismissed upon a defendant motion. August 26

Keona M. Chung, 21, of Hyannis, pleaded guilty to a July 30 charge of domestic assault and battery in Edgartown, placed on probation for 18 months. Ordered to pay a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $65 monthly probation services fee, to attend anger management classes, not to abuse the victim, and to remain alcohol-free with random screens.

Kyle J. Dubay, 30, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on a July 17 charge in Vineyard Haven of possessing to distribute a class D drug (marijuana). Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 30.
