The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court:

May 17

Antoniya I. Sabeva, 33, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on May 17 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 17. May 18 Kevin J. Leaf Jr., 29, of Edgartown, arraigned on May 18 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, second offense, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and a motor vehicle lights violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 20.

May 20

Gregory Maynes, 26, of Chilmark, arraigned on May 19 charges in Chilmark of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding in violation of special regulation, and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 3.

Antonio C. Simoes, 54, of West Tisbury, arraigned on May 18 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 21.

May 23

Carlos R. Damian, 41, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts and was found guilty on an April 7 charge in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, second offense, continued without a finding for two years. Ordered to 90 days in a house of correction, suspended two years and placed on probation for two years. Ordered to a 14-day inpatient program and aftercare, to pay a $50 OUI victims assessment, a $50 victim/witness assessment fee, and a $65 monthly probation services fee. Found responsible on a charge of possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, ordered to pay a $500 fine/assessment. Found not responsible on charges of marked lanes violation, license not in possession and registration not in possession, charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Carlos R. Damian, 41, of Edgartown, had an April 11 charge in West Tisbury of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended for OUI dismissed upon request of the commonwealth with defendant consent, and found not responsible on a charge of no inspection/sticker.

Patrick S. Fitzgerald, 35, of Cumberland, R.I., arraigned on May 22 charges in Oak Bluffs of uttering false prescription and conspiracy to violate drug law. According to police reports filed in court, allegedly attempted to fill a forged prescription for Oxycontin. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 21.

Rebecca E. Greer, 48, of Oak Bluffs, pleaded guilty to a Jan. 9 charge in Oak Bluffs of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, placed on probation for one year and ordered to pay $550 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee.

Rebecca E. Greer, 48, of Oak Bluffs, had a Jan. 9 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, second offense dismissed on request of the commonwealth. Pleaded guilty to charges of failure to stop for police and disorderly conduct, ordered to pay $250 in fines/assessments. Found not responsible for speeding in violation of special regulation.

Zachary T. Greer, 30, of Oak Bluffs, was arraigned on May 2 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 3.

Thomas C. Norbury Jr., 58, of Oak Bluffs, placed on six months of pretrial probation on a Feb. 10 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a bar stool), ordered to pay $80 in restitution.

May 24

Heather A. Gibson, 32, of Vineyard Haven, had an April 20 charge of assault and battery in Vineyard Haven dismissed upon request of the alleged victim.

Jonathan Holden, 31, of Vineyard Haven, placed on six months of pretrial probation on an April 23 charge in Vineyard Haven of breaking and entering in the daytime for a misdemeanor, amended from breaking and entering in the daytime for a felony, person in fear.

Erik M. Kelly, 30, of Edgartown, arraigned on March 23 charge in Vineyard Haven of leaving the scene of property damage. According to police reports filed in court, he was allegedly involved in a one-car motor vehicle crash at Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road and Canterbury Lane that destroyed a section of steel road barrier. Pretrial hearing scheduled for June 27.

Tee J. Roginski, 34, of Oak Bluffs, placed on six months of pretrial probation on a January 22 charge in Oak Bluffs of intimidating a witness, ordered to complete 8 hours of community service.
