Daniel J. Edelbach, 23, of Edgartown, admitted to sufficient facts on Dec. 2 charges in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery and disorderly conduct, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to complete 30 hours of community service, remain alcohol-free with screens and not to contact the victim. Also ordered to pay a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $65 monthly probation services fee. A charge of intimidating a witness was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth.

Joshua R. Faulkner, 22, of Lowell, was arraigned on April 9 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, no inspection sticker and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 3.

Nelson M. Ferreira, 37, of Edgartown, pleaded guilty to a Feb. 11 charge of domestic assault and battery in Edgartown, placed on probation for nine months. Ordered to pay a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $65 monthly probation services fee and to be placed under level-three probation sanctions.

Eric R. Harris, 43, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on April 10 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop/yield, speeding in violation of special regulation, marked lanes violation and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 3. Patrick S. Lampart, 52, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty to Sept. 26 charges in Vineyard Haven of drunken driving, second offense and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Ordered to spend 90 days in a house of correction, suspended two years and placed on probation for two years, ordered to a 14 day inpatient program and aftercare, to be evaluated for a 24Q program and remain alcohol-free with screens. Also ordered to pay $300 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee.

Erich D. Luening, 44, of West Tisbury, admitted to sufficient facts on Dec. 22 charges in West Tisbury of drunken driving and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay $350 in fees and a $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete a 24-day driver alcohol education program and to lose license for 45 days. Found not responsible on charges of speeding and a marked lanes violation.

Robert C. Manning, 30, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty to a Nov. 3 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery. Placed on probation for one year, ordered to have evaluation for counseling and to engage in counseling as mandated by probation and not to abuse the victim. Ordered to pay a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $65 monthly probation services fee.

Robert C. Manning, 30, of Vineyard Haven, had a Jan. 3 charge of malicious destruction of property more than $250 in Vineyard Haven dismissed upon request of the commonwealth because of failure of the victim to cooperate. A Dec. 31 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery was also dismissed upon request of the commonwealth because of failure of the victim to cooperate.

Patrece L. Petersen, 41, of Edgartown, will not be prosecuted in district court for March 10 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault to murder, assault and battery and disorderly conduct because he was indicted and arraigned on charges from this case in Dukes County Superior Court.

James S. Roddy, 17, of Chilmark, was arraigned on April 12 charges in Vineyard Haven of a person under 21 possessing liquor, possessing a class E drug (Quetiapine Fumarate, Methylphenidate Hydrochloride) and possessing a class B drug (Oxycodone, amphetamine). A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 9.

Aron D. Alexander, 56, of Aquinnah, was arraigned on an April 16 charge in Aquinnah of domestic assault and battery. According to the police report filed in court, the charge stems from an alleged argument with his sister over television programming. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 24.

Temple E. Canfield, 47, of Portland, Ore., had July 19 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving and negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed upon request of the commonwealth. He was found not responsible for an improper turn.

Tarcisio R. Deoliveira, 44, of Edgartown, was arraigned on a Sept. 16 charge in Edgartown of domestic assault and battery. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 2.

Daniel C. Kellerer, 39, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty to a Sept. 14 charge in Oak Bluffs of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, placed on probation for two years. Ordered to remain alcohol-free, complete 60 hours of community service, to pay a $250 head injury assessment fee, a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $65 monthly probation services fee for the first six months and a $50 monthly probation services fee for the last 18 months. A charge of drunken driving, second offense was dismissed upon request of the commonwealth, and he was found not responsible for marked lanes violation and speeding in violation of special regulation.

Karen L. Ward, 54, of West Tisbury, had an Oct. 3 charge in West Tisbury of domestic assault and battery dismissed upon request of the commonealth.

Andrew M. Wheeler, 24, of Vineyard Haven, was arraigned on a March 9 charge in West Tisbury of larceny more than $250. According to a police report filed in court, he allegedly stole two shellfishing drag nets valued at $500 from a boat in someone’s yard. A May 20 pretrial hearing was scheduled.

William E. Zukowski, 63, of Edgartown, was arraigned on April 13 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of property damage and failure to stop/yield. He allegedly struck a mailbox on Herring Creek Road. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for May 10.
