Edgartown selectmen Monday renewed Flatbread Company’s alcohol license after voicing concerns about the restaurant’s hours.

Town administrator Pamela Dolby said that last summer the pizza restaurant by the airport kept “sporadic hours” and closed for the season before its announced Sept. 30 closing date.

New manager Tina Miller said the restaurant will be open this year from May 16 through Oct. 20. The restaurant will be open five days a week for the first three weeks, seven days a week from June 10 through Labor Day, and five days a week through the remainder of the season. The restaurant will be open later than its regular closing time when live music acts are scheduled to perform, she said.

The selectmen asked for a letter that indicates when the restaurant plans to remain open for longer hours.

The board also reorganized for the coming year on Monday, with Margaret Serpa taking over for former chairman Michael Donaroma.
