The Martha’s Vineyard Youth Leadership Initiative (MVYLI) is pleased to announce that the ACT College Test is being offered for the first time on Martha’s Vineyard. The test will be administered at the Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School on Saturday, Dec. 8., beginning at 8 a.m. The ACT Test is an alternative to the SAT college test. ACT components include sections on English, math, reading, science and writing (optional). Students can take either the SAT or ACT or both exams; nearly all colleges accept both tests.

MVYLI is now providing practice test sessions on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. To learn more or to sign up for these sessions, email mvyouthleaders@gmail.com. To sign up for the ACT Test, visit act.org and choose MV Public Charter School as the site center.
