The Dukes County Regional Housing Authority — whose mission is to assist the six Vineyard towns with increasing year-round housing opportunities for low to moderate-income residents — has refinanced nearly its entire portfolio of properties, it announced this week. The move should increase the strength of the authority’s balance sheet, said authority chairman of the board Todd Christy.

The refinancing was done in partnership with the Edgartown National Bank. “We are glad we could assist DCRHA accomplish their goals of serving our Island community,” said Fielding Moore, bank president.
