The following cases were heard in Edgartown district court.

August 6

Patrick Bigelow, 30, of Charlestown, arraigned on August 3 charges in Oak Bluffs of breaking and entering a vehicle/boat in the nighttime for felony, two charges of breaking and entering a building for felony, trespassing, resisting arrest, and two counts of larceny less than $250. Bail set at $600 and a default warrant issued. The charges stem from allegedly entering two residences on Samoset avenue and then entering vehicles and taking items.

Carlos A Cardoza, 39, of Revere, arraigned on August 5 charges in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 6.

Daniel C. Ferry, 21, of West Tisbury, arraigned on an August 4 charge of disorderly conduct in Oak Bluffs. Pretrial hearing continued to August 31.

Belinda M. Mossy, 51, of Bayside, N.Y., arraigned on August 5 charges in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, failure to stop for police, license not in possession, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 14.

Connor S. Parent, 18, of Danvers, arraigned on August 4 charges of malicious destruction of property more than $250, vandalizing property, and larceny more than $250. The charges stem from allegedly stabbing an inflatable boat, urinating on Jet Skis and taking mopeds from MV Water Sports. Pretrial hearing scheduled for August 20.

Corey Parent, 23, of Danvers, arraigned on August 4 charges in Oak Bluffs of malicious destruction of property more than $250, vandalizing property and larceny more than $250. August 9

Sean M. Geddis, 19, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on an August 4 charge of disorderly conduct in Oak Bluffs. Pretrial hearing scheduled for August 31.

Lenora Solomon, 47, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on an August 5 charge in Oak Bluffs of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, subsequent offense. Bail set at $1,000, pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 4.

August 10

Melissa A. Boyd, 22, of Edgartown, arraigned on an August 10 charge in Edgartown of assault and battery on a person older than 60 or disabled, for allegedly assaulting her grandmother, who is 79. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 21.

Antonio C. Grillo, 22, of Vineyard Haven, pleaded guilty to a July 29 charge in Edgartown of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, placed on probation for one year. Ordered to pay a $250 head injury fee, $50 victim/witness assessment fee and $50 monthly probation services fee. Charge of drunken driving dismissed on request of the commonwealth.

Benjamin Higgins, 32, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on a Feb. 1 charge in Edgartown of larceny more than $250. The charges stem for allegedly taking payment from firewood and then failing to deliver the product. Also arraigned on a Dec. 29 charge in West Tisbury of larceny more than $250 and a Jan. 31 charge in Oak Bluffs of larceny less than $250. Pretrial hearings scheduled for Sept. 20.

Benjamin Higgins, 32, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned in three separate cases on August 8 charges in Oak Bluffs of forgery of a check and utter false check. Pretrial hearings scheduled for Sept. 20.

Patrick S. Medeiros, 27, of Oak Bluffs, admitted to sufficient facts on a May 4 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay a $250 OUI fee, a $50 OUI victims assessment fee, a $50 victim/witness assessment fee, and a $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete a 24-day alcohol education program and to lose license for 45 days. Found not responsible for a charge of possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Jaime D. Ryan, 22, of Harvard, admitted to sufficient facts in a July 20 charge in Oak Bluffs of drunken driving, continued without a finding for one year. Ordered to pay a $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI victims assessment fee, a $50 victim/witness assessment fee and a $65 monthly probation services fee, to complete a 24-day alcohol education program and to lose license for 45 days. Charge of negligent operation was dismissed on request of the commonwealth and was found not responsible for a marked lanes violation.

August 13

Taylor M. Ahearn, 21, of Wellesley Hills, admitted to sufficient facts on August 11 charges in Edgartown of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, continued without a finding for six months. Ordered to complete 14 hours of community service on each charge and pay a $50 victim/witness assessment fee. Charges of trespassing and assault and battery on a police officer were dismissed on request of the commonwealth.

Tyrone T. Barlosky, 30, of Vineyard Haven, arraigned on an August 10 charge in Vineyard Haven of assault and battery. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 24.

Eugene D. Brice, 48, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on August 10 charges in Vineyard Haven of operating under the influence of drugs, operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, possessing class B drugs (Hydrocodone), and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 20.

Austin Foote, 23, of Fairfield, Conn., placed on pretrial probation for six months on a July 3 charge in Edgartown of breaking and entering for misdemeanor. Ordered to complete 24 hours of community service.

Benjamin J. Michaels, 22, of Kattskill Bay, N.Y., admitted to sufficient facts on a July 8 charge of disorderly conduct in Edgartown, continued without a finding for three months. Ordered to pay $200 in costs, a $50 victim/witness assessment fee, and a $50 monthly probation services fee. Charge of resisting arrest was dismissed on request of the commonwealth.

Sean K. O’Brien, 30, of Oak Bluffs, arraigned on an August 12 charge in Oak Bluffs of aggravated assault and battery for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, who was three months pregnant. Bail set at $1,000, pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 27.

Jordan M. Rosenlicht, 28, of New York, N.Y., arraigned on August 12 charges in Edgartown of drunken driving, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lanes violation. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 24.

Sarah E. Smiley, 26, of Apollo Beach, Fla., arraigned on an August 12 charge in Oak Bluffs of assault and battery. Pretrial hearing scheduled for Sept. 27.
