The Vineyard House, a safe and sober living environment for Vineyarders in early recovery, has announced the addition of Jack Shea to its all-volunteer board.

Mr. Shea is a native of South Boston and a graduate of Stonehill College. He has spent more than 40 years in the communications industry as a reporter, editor and in marketing and managing publishing properties. He also is a founding partner of a full-service advertising and market research agency.

Mr. Shea has exhibited a long-term commitment to the recovery community in several states. He is a former board member of an organization in central Ohio that provides service similar to the Vineyard House services.

Vineyard House, a nonprofit founded in 1997, maintains two men’s houses and one women’s house, and has served more than 350 Vineyarders re-entering society as sober, healthy and productive members of the community. For more information, visit vineyardhouse.org.
